James River Film Festival is this week!

The 15th annual James River Film Festival is this week!

Here's what I'll definitely be attending:
2x Marker (La Jetee & The Case of the Grinning Cat)
Control (Joy Division film by Anton Corbijn)

Maybe (depending on time/post-work mood/finances)
King Corn
Remembering Helen Hill
Southland Tales
Bad Girls (um, not the western from the early-mid 1990s with Drew Barrymore...wasn't that called Bad Girls?)

Probably not attending:
Donnie Darko Director's Cut (I've heard it's not so good compared to the theatrical cut)

Richard Kelly (director of Donnie Darko and Southland Tales) is from around Richmond originally, and has been spending time in Virginia filming his new film The Box.

I have to say that I'm pretty excited about this year's lineup.
